Fan Liu focuses on building models to interpret and predict various functions of proteins through molecular dynamics simulations of protein structures combined with machine learning methods, with applications in immuno-oncology. Dr. Liu was a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Systems Biology and a principal investigator in computer-aided drug design at BeiGene, where he participated in several basic and translational R&D projects for novel therapeutics. Fan Liu graduated from the science class of Zhu Kezhen College of Zhejiang University with a bachelor’s degree and received his Ph.D. in computational chemistry from California Institute of Technology. He has published several highly cited papers in Cell and other academic journals.
