He is a recipient of the Li Foundation Outstanding Achievement Award. He is now the director of the Center for Translational Cancer Research at Peking University First Hospital, deputy director of the Peking University-WhitePharma International Medical Center, deputy director of the Peking University International Cancer Research Institute, deputy director of the Peking University National Institute of Health Big Data, executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Anti-cancer Association, chairperson of the Translational Medicine Sub-committee of the Chinese Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics, executive vice-chairperson of the Journal of Cancer Biology & Medicine, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Medical Review, and Chief Scientist of Baiyao Group.
