What is BIOHK 2024?

Apply for any government subsidies for participating in BIOHK 2024?
All eligible companies can apply for a subsidy of up to 50% of the exhibition fee from the Hong Kong government. Please consult our business cooperation representatives for details.
What kind of organizations should participate in BIOHK 2024?
Biotechnology companies: Domestic market competition is increasingly fierce, and overseas market space is huge. Does BIOHK 2024 have official support from the Hong Kong government?
Since the first BIOHK/Hong Kong International Biotechnology Forum and Exhibition, the Hong Kong SAR Government and the leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China have clearly expressed their support for the conference. The Hong Kong SAR Government has authorized the conference to use the “Flying Dragon Logo” representing the official certification of Hong Kong exhibitions to show its support for BIOHK 2024. Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former Chief Executive of Hong Kong, has served as the guest of honor and delivered speeches at every BIOHK.

Can I join / promote someone as speaker?
All exhibitors or registered visitors can submit abstract and proposal through our Call for Proposals & Call for Abstracts page. All submissions will be reviewed by our scientific committee group before final approval to assure high quality of our convention. Please be reminded that only successfully registered visitors (with registration fee settled) will get the approval, please complete the registration if you have not done so already.
Will virtual convention be held if I cannot join in person?
No, we believe that face-to-face convention is the most effective way to achieve the best results. We are not planning to provide virtual booths or virtual conference this year.

Safety Measures
Any measures on the health safety during the convention?
We understand that you may worry to join BIOHK at this moment due to various health safety concerns, but you don’t have to worry because we shall take all the effort to guarantee your safety. Detail epidemic prevention measures during the convention will be announced soon.
Special arrangement
If BIOHK2024 need to be postponed due to the COVID 19 outbreak or the social distancing policy set by the Hong Kong Government, the collected fund will be retained and roll over to the next BIOHK convention without any additional charges or you may request for a full refund if necessary.
