Prof. Wong is a Hong Kong-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care evaluation research. She enhances front-line physicians’ (Western and Chinese Medicine practitioners) knowledge for effective doctor-patient communication and evaluates care quality using validated patient-reported outcomes. Currently in private practice, she is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine (HKIIM). Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at the School of Chinese Medicine and HKIIM, and a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Hong Kong’s Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care. Prof. Wong has published her research in various international peer-reviewed journals including the Scientific Reports, PLos, Family Practice, Quality of Life Research, Complementary Therapies in Medicine and Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
